Donna received her undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. She performed her PhD at Jefferson University studying desmoglein function with Drs. My Mahoney and Natalia Riobo. ​Next, she worked with Dr. Sarah Millar as a postdoctoral fellow before Dr. Millar moved to Mount Sinai. She will be studying hair follicle stem cells and dendritic epidermal stem cells.
